Last Doc Appointment....

So tomorrow should be my last doc appointment. I go in at 10:15 and I am really hoping that i am far enough along (dilated) to have to stay and have Grant tomorrow! I am so ready to be done. I can't sleep, it hurts to walk, and can't get comfortable! I just can't wait to meat this little one, and bring him home to our family. We will find out as tomorrow comes.

Baby update

So I had my 38 week check up yesterday. everything is still looking really good. I have been measuring a week early the whole pregnancy but that just gives me hope that he wants to come sooner. I got checked also, I am at 2cm but the baby is still high. He scrapped my membranes and i was kinda hoping to go into labor last night, but no luck. But thats okay to. I have another appointment next Friday and hopfully then I am to 4 cm, cause then he told me that I won't be going home, just strait to the hospital! We will see what happens. Its so close, and I am so excited to meet our little guy, and see how Jayden does with his little brother.

Nesting

I can tell its getting close to having this little guy here. Today I got home from grocery shopping, and I ended cleaning out my fridge and pantry. I have his room completely ready, and now we are just waiting on him. I am so close to my due date that it now seems to take forever. I am glad the rest went by so fast. I have enjoyed most of it, there was some mild stuff in the early that wasn't to pleasant, but all worth it. I also know that waiting these last weeks that they although seem forever will end and will be well worth it as well.

Jayden

So, with this new little guy coming, and me going though and getting his room ready I have looked though all of Jayden's old clothes and pictures. I can't believe how much 2 1/2 years really changes things. I have enjoyed so much being his mom, and being able to stay at home with him, play games, teach him new things and watch him grow! I am totally amazed at him and all that he knows and does. I love that he is potty trained and I am also sad that my little guy is getting so big! Here are some pics of Jayden though his life!

Adam Update!

So Adam has been going though the Metro testing again. Today is his last test! He is on his way in for his Psych test right now. I know he will do great. He has been worried about it since this is where he failed out last year, but I know he has changed so much and has grown so much since then. I have a great feeling about this time. I am so proud of him and his efforts in his continuing in going after the job of his dreams. He is such a great husband and father. I love him so much for all he does for his family!

Baby Shower

So my baby shower was on Saturday, but I didn't get time till now to post about it! I had a blast. My dad made his famous spaghetti, we had french bread, salad, and fruit. It was a wonderful lunch. When lunch was done, we started with the games. We played one where you had to chew up the bubble gum and then make a baby out of it, I got to choose the cutest one. Kylie won that one. Then we tested every ones nursery rhymes, and my mom won that game. The next game was where you had to eat chocolate pudding out of a diaper the fastest, Brandie won that one. I think she finished before every one else even got there first bite in. Then there was a game going on the whole time of you cant say the word "BABY" and if you did some one stole your clothes pin. Nia one that game with getting 3 pins!

Since we are having another boy, I really didn't need clothes or the big stuff, so I had asked for diapers and wipes. I got a lot of them so I am excited I don't have to buy them for a while! Robbie made me a beautiful diaper cake, I got 2 blankets from my mom, and she crocheted one of them, its so cute! I got a bathrobe for him and some washcloths, got a cute little outfit from Nia, and diapers and wipes! It was a great time, and can't wait for the little guy to get here!

Adam and I did come up with a name for him! His name will be "Grant Lyle Smith".

Prego belly

I just though I would do a update on my big belly! I am at 35 weeks and a couple days. I am getting so anxious in waiting for this little guy to get here. I am really hoping that he comes in February and not March, and I am really hoping for a short stay in the hospital this time. Jaydens was way to long at 6 days in there. I had my doctor appointment on Friday and everything is still looking good. He is head down and is still moving good, and he heart rate is good. While the doc was checking it, it was racing at first, but when he finally quit moving and settled down, his went back to normal. Doc said that was a normal thing when they move it goes up, and since it went back down every thing is ok. Anyway here are some pics of my belly.
