Since 2004 we have gone up to Pioche days ( thats when my mom got a house up there). Pioche always does the Labor day celebration over the 4 day weekend. It starts on friday every one always just shows up and gets everything set up. On saturday there is softball games that go on, stuff for kids, yard sales, shops that sell odds and ends, Chucking chicken and at night there is Dancing in the street, and then the light parade. Sunday there is more softball games, and people just play at the park, at night there is a AWESOME fireworks show! Monday there is the Parade but int he morning so you can see it 2 ways, and then people play at the park, and get ready to go home. It is so fun to go up there. I am so glad we were able to get away from the heat, and spend time with Family!
