One month and Blessing

So on Saturday Grant turned one month old. I can't believe how fast it goes. Not only did the pregnancy go fast. Him growing is going faster to since I have 2 kids and I am not sure if I like that. He is now around 10lbs and 22 inches. 3 lbs and 2 inches bigger then when he was born. Also this weekend on Sunday we had him blessed. Adam did a great job, and I am so happy to have the priesthood him my home, and for the power it has and the feeling it puts in the home. After the blessing we had a picnic at the park with family, it was delish. After the picnic Adams mom and brother and step dad came over and visited for a while. It was good to talk with them and catch up, it had been a while.

Life

This is our first family picture since we had Grant!

So life is going well at our home for the most part. I get stressed least everyday at my dang dogs. They like to get out of the yard when I am busy with feeding Grant or getting stuff for Jayden. It seems they know the worst time to get out and do it. Grant is growing like a weed and it makes me sad. He is still small and everything but they grow way to fast. Grant also has gunky eyes right now, his tear ducts are clearing out and so I am hoping they clear out fast. He is also 3 weeks today, time sure does fly. Jayden is getting so smart. He knows his colors so well, and his numbers when you ask him to point them out. He is still counting funny, 1 2 7 8 13. ( is his usall way he counts) I think its so cute! Adam found out he didn't make it on to Metro again, so he is still testing for N. Las Vegas PD and we will see how that goes. Well I think that is all that has been going on here.

Its almost been two weeks since I had Grant and I can't believe that he has already gained a pound. On Monday I took him to get circumsized and he weighed in at 7lbs 13 oz. I am sure by now he is 8 lbs. He has changed some already to. Its sad how fast they change and grow. I love the baby stage and how much I get to cuddle with them. He is even starting to give little smiles. Jayden is doing great with his little brother as well, and is such a great little helper. I love my boys. I am excited to get to start working out soon, and getting the rest of the weight off plus some extra. my plan is to be one hot moma! hehehe we will see what happens!

1 week

I can't believe my baby is a week old already. It has not seemed that long. I have adjusted well from one to two kids. It has been easier then I anticipated. I love having my boys and being able to be a stay home mom with them. Watching them grow and learn is such a blessing.

Small update!

So, I haven't been doing much these last few days, docs orders. But we have enjoyed the last few days. Grant is doing great, feeding well, and gets lots of kisses from his brother. Jayden is doing wonderful with his little brother. He always comes running when he hears him cry to tell him its okay and kiss him. We have all actually got naps for the past two days. I love laying down with my boys and enjoying a nap with them.

Grant Lyle Smith

Friday at noon we went to the hospital. After 12 hours of labor on the 28th of February at 1:24 am Grant was born weighing in at 7lbs 2oz and is 20 inches long. We had to stay in for the 24 hours to test his billyrubin which was fine. We got discharged from the hospital at 8:45 this morning and are enjoying being home. Jayden stayed with grandma while we were in the hospital. They came by yesterday and Jayden liked the baby, but not sure what he will do when he find out he came home with us. It was such a good experiance this time around. I couldn't have asked for a better labor and delivery.
