4 Months

Grant is 4 months old. I can't believe how fast they grow. We weighed him the other day and he is 18 lbs. He also got started on solids. He ate pears yesterday and loved them. He is getting more smiley every day, and loves it when Jayden talks to him. I love my little guy!

Blow OUT!!

So, today I decided to go to Walmart to see if I could find some shirts for my boys for family picuters on Saturday! Well I got a about a 1/2 mile past mile marker 96 ( just by the first truck stop on the I15 toward Mesquite when BANG!! My front passenger tire blew! My mind quickly rememberd what my sister told me years ago when I first started driving that if I ever had a tire blow. just let go of the gas, slowly turn the wheel to get off the road and I would be fine. and thats what I did. I felt so blessed that I was being watched over and was safe since I had both of my boys with me. Jayden who was asleep never woke up, and Grant was crying cause he was hungry. I called Adam and we went to Walmart and got a tire (cause it was the spare that blew) and went back to the car and put it on. every thing is fine except a little body damage on the car. But all fixable. It took me back 2 weeks when 2 girls lost their lives cause of a blown tire and makes me feel so blessed that nothing happend to me or my boys.

my gift

So, our anniversary was on the 17th of this month and Adam had told me that my present was on its way. Today I got it in the mail. O my! I love it so much. Its just crazy how something so small, can make you feel so special. He got me this beautiful heart shaped necklace, it has a picture of us on it and on the back it is engraved " my eternal love." He is so thoughtful and I just love my husband so much!

4 Years

I can't believe it, Adam and I have been married for 4 years today! I love him so much and am so glad to have him in my life! Its crazy to think 5 years ago we were dating in high school and now we are married sealed for eternity and have 2 wonderful boys. I am so happy, and can't wait for many more wonderful years with my wonderful husband!

Slacker

So, I have been major slacking on my blog. I had a pretty crazy weekend. Adam took off Friday to make sure we could make it to his brother Jason's graduation from ITT with his bachelors. After graduation we had dinner at Applebee's and then we spent the night at Adams moms house in Vegas.
Saturday, we woke up and had a pretty lazy morning. Adam and Jas played on the wii, and I worked on my crocheting. I learned how to make a granny square so I am making my first afgan. When I ran out of yarn, Roberta and I ran to walmart and got some more yarn. Then at 1:30 I went over to Lara H's house for her baby shower. After I left there we all headed over to Tom and Lisa's place to have dinner (since they did invite, who turns down a free dinner?) It was delishish, and it was nice to see their place. we got done there around 9 or 9:30 and Adam didn't think he could drive home and stay awake, so we stayed the night again at Roberta's.
Sunday we woke up and got our stuff together and headed home. When we got home I enjoyed a nice long shower and Jayden and Adam played with the bubble guns that we got over the weekend. And for dinner we went over to Adams dads house as we do every Sunday. It was a long and joyful weekend! Sorry I didn't get any pics of it. I had my camera but the batteries had to be used for other things!

Spray Park

So I like to go up to Moapa to the spray park at least once a week. I usually on Wednesday. Most Wednesdays my mom also does crafts for people who want to do them. I was thinking of getting a play day set up for us moms who have young kids who don't want to worry about going to the pool to cool down. We could do Wednesday around 11 and do a picnic with it as well. I could post on Monday what and if there is a craft as well for that day and they crafts are usually are at 1 in the afternoon. Let me know what all you moms out there think of this idea, or if you have one that would be fun as well.
